SOCAR Petrol Ticaret and STAR Rafineri, two of the group companies of SOCAR Türkiye, Turkiye's largest integrated industrial group, won two awards at the 2023 Stars of Export Awards organized by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (IKMIB). In the Mineral Fuels category, SOCAR Petrol Ticaret ranked first and STAR Refinery ranked second. SOCAR Türkiye CEO Elchin Ibadov accepted the awards.
Continuing to support direct exports and exporting domestic industrialists in 2023 with its group companies, SOCAR Türkiye managed to maintain its place in the list by leaving the 2023 Stars of Export Awards with two awards.
İKMİB is one of Turkiye's leading exporters' associations thanks to its major contribution to the annual exports of 30.6 billion dollars of the export leader chemical industry with over 9 thousand member companies making actual exports in 2023.
