Integrated Fuel Supply Infrastructure

TFS Akaryakıt manages fueling, storage, and transfer operations from a single center through its integrated infrastructure at Istanbul Airport. The company ensures uninterrupted supply with a terminal that can accommodate vessels up to 125,000 DWT, a fuel farm with a capacity of 300,000 m³, and an underground hydrant system on the apron. Supported by electric systems, this infrastructure not only enables high operational efficiency but also promotes environmental sustainability.

Eco-Friendly Fueling Practices

At Istanbul Airport, TFS Akaryakıt reduces carbon emissions, diesel consumption, and noise pollution by using electric vehicles in jet fuel supply operations. The share of electric vehicle operations has reached 97%. TFS also stands out as the first company in Türkiye to supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). With its current infrastructure, the company is capable of providing SAF to all airlines and continues to develop projects in cooperation with international partners to support domestic SAF production in Türkiye.

A Management Approach Focused on Quality and Safety

TFS Akaryakıt conducts its operations based on the principles of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Since 2020, the company has been operating under the Safety Management System defined by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, adopting a proactive approach to risk management and prioritizing a strong safety culture. Taking its first step in its quality journey with the ISO 9001 certification, TFS established an Integrated Management System in 2022 and continues to manage its processes with a focus on customer satisfaction and sustainable development.
