International Energy Agency Executive Director Dr. Fatih Birol met with participants at the SOCAR Energy School

Aiming to provide its participants with a 360-degree perspective on energy, SOCAR Energy School hosted Dr. Fatih Birol, Director of the International Energy Agency, one of the leading figures shaping the international energy agenda, at a special event.

The program, held at SOCAR Türkiye’s Vadistanbul Office, began with a Master Class presentation by SOCAR Türkiye CEO Elchin Ibadov. The presentation covered SOCAR Türkiye's energy vision, the dynamics of transformation in the sector, and its long-term strategic approach.

Later in the program, Dr. Fatih Birol met with SOCAR Energy School participants and shared his assessments on the global energy outlook, the fundamental dynamics of energy transformation, and his predictions for the future. The event continued with an interactive session where participants' questions were answered.
